Instructions for the “Care” and Use of your
Sidewalk Sammy
 |
· Please fill the base with water before use, so Sammy does not fall over and get hurt.
· Try to only display Sammy whenever children are present, so Sammy does not get lonely. That way motorists will take his presence more seriously.
· Sammy will be happy on the parkway, near the end of the driveway, or at any other highly visible location that does not interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
· Sammy is not to be placed in the street or on a sidewalk; Sammy does not want to get hurt or hurt anyone.
· When children are not present Sammy should be stored in a secure place at night, since Sammy is afraid of the dark.
· If Sammy runs away or is stolen, please report the theft to the Elmhurst Police Department.
· Please empty the water from Sammy’s base before he is picked up at the end of your two week period.
· Please have your children help “care” for Sammy during his visit.
